Justin Petredis grew up just outside of Cleveland, Ohio.  After studying Political Science and Finance at Miami University in southwestern Ohio, he attended Law School at Tulane University in New Orleans where he met his wife, who was born and raised in Tampa.  

Mr. Petredis moved to the Tampa Bay area in May of 2004 where he passed the Florida Bar.  In the fall of 2004, Petredis began working at the Pinellas/Pasco State Attorney's Office where he tried a variety of cases including Attempted Murder, Capital Sexual Battery, Robbery, Burglary, Grand Theft, Aggravated Battery, Possession of Controlled Substance, Trafficking in Controlled Substance and DUIs. Petredis has also tried over 50 Final Hearings for Violations of Probation as well as over 50 Motions to Suppress.

Justin Petredis believes in being highly involved in his community,  he has been a Big Brother for over 3 years and participates in Steak and Sports Day, which is an annual event that provides a day of enjoyment for children located at the Children's Home.  Mr. Petredis has also volunteered as a judge for the Honorable Robert J. Simms Mock Trial Competition in which local high school teams compete for the right to represent Hillsborough County at the State level, and each year participates in Relay for Life benefitting the American Cancer Society.  

Mr. Petredis was recently given the distinction of becoming a Board Certified Attorney in the area of Criminal Law. Only six percent of all attorneys in Florida are Board Certified in any category with only 382 currently certified in the area of Criminal Trial.  As such, Mr. Petredis is recognized as an expert and specialist in the area of Criminal Law.
